High yielding dividend stocks are hard to find, but there are plenty of them. Here are a few high yielders that you probably have not heard of before. All dividend data below is as of 3/27/10.
Dorchester Minerals – DMLP
Dorchester produces natural gas and crude oil. They have an annual dividend of 1.29 giving DMLP a yield of 6.10%.
Lorillard – LO
Lorillard is a cigarette company that has a high annual dividend of $4 per share which gives it a yield of 5.2%. LO currently trades at 76 even.

There are some great stocks going ex-dividend in March 2010. Here are a few that I’m keeping my eye on.
I always prefer to buy stock in companies that I’m familiar with. I go to movies at Regal all the time. RGC goes ex-dividend on March 2nd. As of Friday Regal was trading at 14.94 with a yield of 4.7%. The Market cap is 2.3B and the P/E ratio is just over 24.
Another stock you might be familiar with is WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment, which goes ex-dividend on March 11th. WWE closed at 17.05 on March 26th and pays a 8.5% dividend yield.

NRGY is going ex dividend on Feb 3, 2010. NRGY closed at 35.63 on January 29th and has a 7.6% dividend yield.
Heritage Financial – HBOS
HBOS is also going ex-dividend on February 3rd and has a 4.4% yield. HBOS trades at under $10 a share.

I expect to see some heavy trading around T and VZ this week.
United Bankshares is going ex-dividend on December 9th, 2009. It has a annual dividend yield of 7.06%!
